Dealing With The Third Party In Your Relationship BY Pst Mike

Dealing With The Third Party In Your Relationship BY Pst Mike
Finding out that your partner is having an affair can be very difficult to deal with. After all, what you initially thought would be a happy, bump-free relationship may not be so true after all. So how do you deal with this third party in your relationship?
Third parties in any relationship cause tension, arguments, or even a falling out. If you don’t want this to happen to you and your partner, take stock of the situation at hand and be proactive about it.
1. IGNORE
Sometimes, all a third party wants is attention. But if you don’t give your partner what he/she wants, they might get tired of trying to get you to react and just go away. Ignoring the third party is also a more calm and civilized way of handling the situation. This may take a bit of time, however, depending on just how aggressive the intruder is.
2. TALK TO YOUR PARTNER
Before the situation gets out of hand, talk to your partner. Ask what has brought the two of you to
this situation, and let your partner know that you do not approve of his/her actions. Seriously consider all options, and focus on deciding on whether your relationship is still worth saving or not. If you feel that you wouldn’t be able to handle your emotions properly, ask your partner to end the affair so you wouldn’t have to deal with a confrontation.
3. CONFRONT WITH TACT
Most people who were faced with this problem initially reacted with anger. However, letting your emotions get the best of you will not solve the problem at hand. If
you intend to confront the third party, it would be best to let your feelings settle down first before doing so. If the intruder is someone you know, confronting him/her peacefully and tactfully would be the best possible option you can do to solve the problem.
